Douglas Lake  is 30,400 acres Reservoir Lake nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. It is formed by the French Broad River and tributaries of the Nolichucky and Pigeon Rivers. Bordering counties and cities are: Cocke County Newport, Parrottsville Hamblen County  Morristown, White Pine. Bordering counties and cities are: Anderson County Clinton, Oak Ridge, Lake City, Oliver Springs, Norris. Campbell County Jellico, Jacksboro, LaFollette, Lake City, Caryville. Union County Luttrell, Plainview, Maynardville. Tellico Lake and Fort Loudon lake. Tellico Lake consists of 15,860 acres of surface, 373 miles of shoreline and a 2627 square mile watershed.
